TV Beatles at Shea Stadium 1965 Anniversary Edition Red - Ron Campbell

$ 295.00 $ 395.00

April 15th marks the anniversary of the most famous Beatles live concert - Shea Stadium.  56,000 screaming fans packed the stadium (the largest rock concert up to that time) and ABC-TV filmed it for a special prime time broadcast.

The late Ron Campbell (TV Beatles Cartoon series director & Yellow Submarine animator) commemorated this historic Beatles event with a limited-edition watercolor painting featuring the TV Beatles characters wearing the specific outfits worn during the concert (complete with Wells Fargo badges.)

This special smaller sized (7"x10") limited-edition anniversary version featuring a red background is being released for a very limited time along with a blue background piece (sold separately) in a combined edition of 65 numbered copies (65 combined, not of each piece).  Ron Campbell's multicolored painted signature is printed on each piece of art.  These giclees are available exclusively on-line.  Each numbered artwork comes with a certificate of authenticity, a Ron Campbell estate embossing and signature stamp.

Size: 7" x 10" with hand deckled edges on museum quality archival paper.  Limited to 65 total numbered copies.
