In early 1968, while animating on the “Yellow Submarine” feature film, I was also storyboarding episodes of the first season of Scooby Doo. Later in the mid seventies, my studio produced the animation for some episodes.
This piece depicts an event that happened in every episode, the entire group spooked, fleeing from the mysterious monster/ghost whatever. Shortly after this event Velma, Daphne, and Fred will come to their senses and Velma will work out what was going on. Shaggy and Scooby Doo will remain unconvinced, jittery until dinner time.
Limited edition fine art giclee. Hand signed by Ron Campbell. Approximate size 16" x 21" Limited to 195 hand signed numbered copies. Very few hand signed copies remain.
