Tony Bennett recently turned 84 and heís still going strong. 2011 will mark his 60th year in the music business with a career that has earned him 15 Grammy Awards and dozens of other honors. Tony Bennett is known the world over as a premiere entertainer. Yet as a child growing up in Astoria, NY, one of his first career ambitions was to be a painter and this passion for art has been as much a part of his life as his love for music and performing. In May 2001, Bennett lent his artistic talents to celebrate the 127th running of the Kentucky Oaks by painting an image of the actual race. Limited to a 300 edition, this fine art print is signed in pencil by Tony Bennett and was used as the cover of the Kentucky Oaks Program as well as the entry ticket. Stamped with the OFFICIAL KENTUCKY OAKS SEAL, this is a rare and very special commemorative fine artwork of the world's most famous horse race. The piece comes with a Certificate of Authenticity.
