Few people knew John Lennon as intimately as May Pang. Pang was Lennon’s lover during the infamous “Lost Weekend” which lasted 18 months during late 1973 through 1975. During this highly creative time for Lennon, Pang took candid photos of Lennon in a comfortable, relaxed environment.
May comments, “George Harrison at the New York office of Apple Records. With the camera in my hand, he knew I wanted to take his photo as we passed each other in the hallway. He obliged generously and patiently. This was the time when George was bringing the tapes over of ALL THINGS MUST PASS to be mastered in NY.
