Few people knew John Lennon as intimately as May Pang. Pang was Lennon’s lover during the infamous “Lost Weekend” which lasted 18 months during late 1973 through 1975. During this highly creative time for Lennon, Pang took candid photos of Lennon in a comfortable ,relaxed environment.
John’s favorite photo. John and May were having a weekend away in upstate NY in a place called Ellenville. The owner wanted to show them a walking path near the house before handing over the keys to them. As they walked up this path, May thought the scenery was so gorgeous and it was Fall and the leaves were just turning. She dropped back as John continued to walk. She then called out to him and he turned and that is the moment you see. The 2 dogs were called Shazam and Delilah (front) Fall 1974. Giclee , Size 16"x20", unframed.
