The drive from Biloxi to Cleveland (the site of last nights show) was 16 hours. I decided to drive to Louisville the first day, then complete the drive to Cleveland the next morning in order to get there in time for load in. I went on Priceline to find a hotel in Louisville for the night. As I pulled into the hotel that night, I noticed two very familiar buses in the parking lot….it looked like Ringo’s crew. I inquired at the front desk of the hotel and sure enough….of all the hotels between Biloxi and Cleveland, I ended up at the same hotel as Ringo’s crew…what are the odds?
I decided to take a few photos at the sold out Cleveland show of some of the people behind the scenes of the Ringo tour.
Jeff Chonis, Ringo's drum tech for 21 years, sets up Ringo's drum kit, tunes the drums, fixes the drums and stands directly behind Ringo during the concerts in the event the drums need attention. Jeff is the man behind the drummer!
