New Jimi Hendrix Rock Art Show Poster

Baron Wolman, Rolling Stone Magazine's first chief photographer, designed this amazing fine art poster exclusively for the Rock Art Show. Wolman comments, "This shot of Jimi Hendrix is my absolute favorite live action photograph of a musician at work. It was taken at the Fillmore West in San Francisco in February 1968 and was the first time Jimi played a concert for legendary rock promoter Bill Graham."
The poster is hand signed by Baron Wolman and measures 20" x 24". It is available for a limited time for $75.00 plus shipping.

Bob Masse Poster on American Idol

Bob Masse's classic 1967 poster of the Doors in Vancouver popped up in an unexpected place this week. American Idol finalist Adam Lambert was wearing a T-shirt with Masse's Doors poster on the front while he was speaking with Slash from Guns & Roses. The Doors poster is part our Rock Art Show. Masse was thrilled when we called him and told him the news. Masse's posters have been featured in many films and tv shows. His poster of U2 was featured in the film "Knocked Up" and his Kinks poster was in the film "Music & Lyrics."

We All Live In A Yellow Submarine

Doug Royal drove 60 miles to the Kitty Kinnan Rock Art Show near Raleigh, NC to meet Beatles animator Ron Campbell. Doug was waiting for Ron as the show opened on Friday and brought several photos with him of his extensive Yellow Submarine collection (including a Yellow Submarine Juke Box).
Thanks to everyone in the Raleigh/Durham area for stopping by and saying hi!
